Hogle Zoo Passholders

We decided to get ourselves some members passes this year. We have already been twice and loved it.   It's a great place for young kids. So you will be seeing many more zoo posts.
There are 3 new lion cubs.

Eliza calls the the gorillas the granillas.

Eliza has decided she doesn't like the carousel if it doesn't have a seat belt. I'm trying to help her get past this so I took her on and told her my arms could be her seatbelt. She was willing to work with that. Hopefully her willingness continues. She has always loved the carousel.
Lucas was just as happy as could be in his stroller and seeing the sights.

She even went on it the next time and didn't need any assistance.
Our fun train ride. You can't tell but Eliza really did have a good time.

Eliza's GREAT Summer

After many months cooped up inside, I was determined after the baby came to get out and about and enjoy lots and lots of activities.
We went to the Orem SummerFest carnival.
She is often dancing around in her princess clothes.
Cute Story: Our neighbor got married in August. Eliza was excited to go to the "party" and wear a dress. She asked what dress she should wear to the party. Matt said we were thinking her striped dress. She replied, "I can't wear a church dress to the party." She decided she needed to wear her Cinderella dress AND a crown. SO off we went with our little princess.

Eliza loved getting to meet her Italy cousins and bond with Tessa who is also 3 years old. They had so much fun playing little girl games together.
There were lots of water activities this summer.
After lots of fun at the splash pad, we loved going to the carousel at the Provo Riverwoods.

We go and walk and walk and walk whenever we can.
It's so refreshing to be free from pregnancy and get out as I please.
We stumbled across this gigantic 7 foot teddy bear at Costco.
What I can't figure out is who would ever buy that thing?!?!
Eliza STILL spends lot of time reading books. I love how much she loves them. I can't wait until she can read. She will enjoy it so much.
Eliza is still all girl! She loves shoe shopping and her newest interest is painted nails.
Where did this girly girl come from??? Love her so much!!

She still gets lots of happy mommy and daddy snuggles

Had a sunday dinner up the canyon with the siblings.
Went to the Wasatch County Fair with the Midway cousins. Eliza had a blast!

Eliza got a new bike and has had fun riding it outside.
Eliza does not roll down the hill....she will only run. Matt is waiting for the day they roll down together.

Eliza is a dancer

Eliza loves dancing and has been dancing at home since she was standing. We decided to put her in a dance class. She enjoyed it for a little while but then, after about 6 weeks, she decided it was not for her right now. She didn't want to follow the teacher's dance moves, she wanted to do her own moves....funny kid.
I would be concerned and push her to continue except that she is great in preschool with instructions and always wants to be there so I decided to let her stop for now. We may try again next fall. We will see. But anyway, she loved getting dressed up and getting her hair done for dance day.

She really is a natural as shown in the pictures below. These poses are all her. I honestly think she was made for some ballet. So if she continues to show interest, that is the direction we may have her try next.

The sunglasses are my favorite accessory.

The class did a little performance at the end of September.
