Eliza's 2nd Birthday

We finally got to celebrate Eliza's Birthday on February 7. 

We went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity.

Eliza loves blocks and has recently learned how to play with Duplos.

These princesses at Grandma Stacey's house are Eliza's favorite toy. She has spent countless hours dressing and undressing these princesses in different dresses. 

Matt and I got her a balance bike for her to grow into. It will be a while before she truly embraces the fun that can be had. 

Due to all of the traumatic events on and around her birthday, Eliza had many opportunities to have her birthday celebrated in an array of ways. She also enjoyed learning and singing her birthday song and everyone singing to her as shown in the picture below. 

Matt made her a beautiful pink princess cake. A dream for Eliza.

For the first time, she really got into opening her presents. She loved all of her presents and having all of her favorite people in the same room to share it with her.
