Winter happenings

Matt did a missionary presentation for the primary activity about Australia. It was great fun. Eliza even got her own missionary badge.

It's always fun when daddy comes home from work.

Selling our townhome

The decision to sell our home was HARD. Even now, we miss it SO very much. We only lived there 2 years but built lots of memories and it was a happy home. We often could come home and just bask in the comfort and happiness in our home. 

It was important, though, that we made the choices we did. 

They have had incredibly positive consequences. The blessings certainly outnumber the sadness.

5 Years Married!

We loved going to the Anniversary Inn for our Anniversary.  

We stayed in the Lighthouse room.

Five years of happy and many, MANY trials and tribulations. 

So yay for eternal joy! 

It's a beginning that we never imagined 

but much hope for a bright BRIGHT future.

I can't imagine spending my days with anyone else. Matt is my favorite person. He inspires me to be better and do better. Love him SOOO much!

A New Family Car

Well the time came, and we finally went of a bigger, newer family car. Matt's BMW, from his dad, had started to get expense. (i.e. $1,000 to fix a light) So after a talk with the Staceys (we didn't feel like we could use it as a trade in unless we asked since they were so generous to give it to us.) we decided it was the best choice for our family. I felt bad that Matt was losing another car that was important to him. But he was willing for the family's safety and finances. 

We went car shopping to look at Ford Explorers and Honda Pilots and came home with a funny-looking Ford Flex. haha! After a test drive and spending time in it, I was surprisingly happy with it. We love our new purchase!

Eliza is FOUR!

The kids had a great time at the Bounce House in Orem.

Even Lucas was able to find some baby entertainment.

Eliza wanted a pink cake with green frosting. Cousins got to celebrate with her. Grandma and Grandpa Stacey also got to join in on the song via FaceTime. 

Eliza got a fun mermaid doll with her money from Grandma and Grandpa Stacey.

At church they sang a fun song and gave her a special treat. 

Ice Castles and Slides

The ice castles were so much fun!!! They really outdid themselves this year. It was worth every penny, every chill, every wet spot, and every mile we drove.

A Visit to Oregon to see Emma

Had so much fun visiting my dear friend Emma in Oregon.

Love spending time with my dear buddy. We had SO many fun adventures together in our youth.

Matt and the kids also had a ton of fun. Lucas FINALLY learned to crawl while I was out of town. Fortunately Matt took a video and it's super cute.

We went on a beautiful short walk to a water fall and had some yummy chocolate after our cold adventures.
